Spring is trying once again, this past weekend was awesome in our neck of the woods.  No rain or storms to live through or worry about.

Our yellow magnolia trees are full of blooms and hopefully they will finish opening before the frost/freeze watches/warnings take place this week!! 

More Blooms

Amazing how many flowers we have blooming and coming up for this to only be March 7th.  We are walking the gardens every day to enjoy everything emerging from it's winter sleep because I would imagine winter will rear it's head before much longer and bite off all the new buds just waiting for the next warm day.  It's been in the 60s, 70s and 80s for the past couple of weeks with just a day hear or there in the 50s.  Most mornings are in the 40s and up.  It has been so pleasant and we can only hope it continues !!

This has been such a weird year for weather with the warmest weather in February I can remember.  I have most all of my hostas in ceramic pots or metal buckets and tubs now because of voles and they are all coming up.  We also noticed a few of our peonies coming up in the big pots we have them in.  Not good at all!!!

More Spring Blooms

This week is shaping up to be a gorgeous spring week!!  Temps are in the high 50s and 60s and then Mother Nature lowers the boom for the weekend and we are back in the 20s and 30s.  Our flowers are pushing up and trying their best to prove spring is almost here.
