Christmas Ornament

Now that I'm getting ready to start Bella's Christmas ornament for 2015 I realized I never posted a picture of 2014's.  I think Elsa & Anna from Frozen is her favorite so far!

Bella's New Chair

My brother made Bella a chair out of 2 wooden spools this spring and we have finally gotten it painted.  Bella's request was pink and purple stripes and she had to help paint!!!

Have you ever painted with an almost 5 year old???????????? She would paint a little while and then go catch butterflies and then come back and paint some more and then go play with the cat!   LOL

We Made Stepping Stones!

started with fast setting concrete mix

just add water and here we go

planter trays I saved from all the plants 

we've bought - we lined with a black

plastic trash bag

mixed it up and poured it in

waited about 1 1/2 hours and

we have a new stepping stone

with a pretty pattern on it

made 6 this first time around

not all perfect by any means

but the dark oak gel stain brought

the pattern out on all of them and 

covered up some problem areas

got them laid in the garden and mulched in

we are so happy with them all and will

definitely make more for the rest of the garden

Summer Celebration

Mom and I went to the UT Summer Celebration in Jackson, TN last Thursday and had a blast.  It was so hot but well worth the drive as this is what we came home with:
