The temperatures have been so wonderful the past week or so and our magnolias are in full bloom.  Even better that we get to enjoy them all week!!!

After I put the birdhouses up Bella came to inspect and liked that there were in her "Royal Garden" and that she could call us with her owl bell and in case I didn't know it that Memaw and I were her Royal Subjects.  lol

Spring is getting closer and closer and we are buying peonies for the garden.  Inspecteur Laverne came from Bates Nursery in Nashville and the other 3 came from Iris City Gardens in Primm Springs.  We can't wait for them to come up and bloom!

Snow is Gone

And more pictures of our flowers blooming from years past. We have old fashioned buttercups up and starting to bloom and way to many other flowers are trying to sprout and it is not time yet.  We have had a lot of warmer than normal temps this winter along with snow twice now which is more than enough on the snow front!  Hopefully spring is just around the corner!!!

It started early Friday morning with snow for about 15 minutes then turned to sleet and finally back to snow later in the morning.  Then snowed all day and lightly into Saturday morning.  We ended up with 7 1/2", most snow we've had a one time since 1996!

Roses to Brighten the Day!

Dreaming of Spring

Pictures are of our tree peonies blooming in years past.  We had a dusting of snow yesterday and cold temperatures to go along with it.  Sure makes one wish spring was closer!
