Bella's Stocking & Turdie Quilt

I finally got the beading done on Bella's stocking and Mom sewed it all together 2 days before Christmas.  The same night I put the borders on Bella's Turdie the Turtle quilt and it is ready for quilting.  She was so excited to see them both!!

Finally it is done!!!   I've been stitching on this stocking for 3 years trying to get it just right and have finally finished it.  Now if only the Finishing Fairy would pop in and sew it together!

1st Pieced Baby Quilt

My first pieced baby quilt.  I had seen a picture of this so using 2 1/2" squares from a jelly roll I made my own.  I'm sure happy with it!!!

Kindergarten Graduation

The school year is almost at an end and Bella is graduating Kindergarten!!!

Science Fair Excitement

Yesterday the Science Guy came to Bella's school and astounded them all with his show and tell regarding weather. Bella was picked to help with static electricity and was so excited!  She was still excited about it all that evening and was laughing while telling me all that happened.  It was very interesting to hear her explanation about tornados and how they swirled around!!!

The weather has been so warm for January and so far in February.  We have so many flowers, bushes and trees budding and coming up.  It could very well be a bloomless spring if we get a hard frost or freeze which is very likely from now till the middle of April.
