More Peonies

Saturday we spent a good part of our day at Iris City Gardens in Primm Springs, TN.  It was a very cold and wet day but we sure had a blast.  The peonies and iris' were in full bloom and their flower beds were magnificient. We of course had to come home with some new peonies.

New Sitting Area Under the Bald Cypress Trees

April has been every bit as wonderful as the month of March with 70s and 80s for daily temps. This would have been a perfect year to take the months of March and April off from work.

all the mini hostas came back and the

mini evergreens survived our mild winter

new camellia bed - 2 red and 2 white

we cleaned out all the Stella d'oro daylilies

and passed them on to other gardeners

April is for Peonies

The month of March came in like a lamb and went out like a kitten. What a wonderful way to start the month of April. We have all our tree peonies blooming and a beautiful site it is. But first the newest addition to our garden:
