Finished Cross Stitch Quilt Blocks

Sock Monkey for Grace
14 Ct White Aida
DMC Floss

Lamb for Matthew
14 Ct White Aida
DMC Floss
Stoney Creek #413 Farm Babies

The lamb was a definite challenge as it is made up of colonial knots.  I've been wanting to learn that knot as I really really don't like french knots and this was the perfect opportunity.  I don't believe I will ever forget how to make them now.  I love the way this block turned out!

1st Day of Preschool

Our baby is growing up.  She started preschool today and I don't know who was more worried about her - Me, Mom or Jennifer.  She will go 2 days a week and Mom & Jennifer will take her and I will pick her up. When they got there she did not even have time for hugs or kisses as she saw the other kids and it was time to play!  Can't you just see me having to drag her out kicking and screaming when it is time to leave. lol
