Playing in the Park

Jennifer took Bella to play in the park Wednesday and she had a blast.  She shows no fear in climbing, sliding and swinging.  She has grown so much from last year since we couldn't hardly talk her into getting on a swing much less letting us push it!

Spring is Starting to Bud

The magnolias are starting to bud and bloom, hopefully we will be able to enjoy them without a killing frost.

It is so nice to have longer daylight hours again especially with so much that needs to be done in the garden.  Now if only the weather would cooperate and it would get warm enough to enjoy working outside.  Hopefully the rain will hold off until Saturday night so we can move the rest of the rocks to our rock pile.  We plan on using them for edging in the flower garden.

Helleborus Are Blooming

Spring is getting closer although it is hard to image after this week's cold temps and snow on the ground yesterday and today, thank goodness not on the roads.  We also have a chance for a little accumulation tonight and tomorrow morning.  Hopefully it will stay slight since the Nashville Lawn & Garden Show is this weekend and I'm planning on going tomorrow.

The first 3 are old helleborus we have had for years and I don't know their names.  They have multiplied so well and we have lots of them and enjoy their beautiful blooms every year.
