Signs of Fall



mums by the back door

oak leaf hydrangea turning bronze

yellow roses still blooming

maple tree in front yard

pink roses still blooming

Alan cut down the dead red tip photinia bush
now we are ready for a new rose bed

autumn clementis spreading their seeds

pink geraniums still blooming good
thank goodness for these and the roses
or there would be no blooms in the garden

one last mowing of the field next to our garden

We are sure having a dry fall this year, very hot and dusty when mowing. Hopefully we will get some much needed rain in the next few weeks.

  2. Sandy, your Autumn is looking beautiful. I axcited to see that you are planting a new rose bed. Seeing the roses waiting to be planted has me coveting a little. Wish I had more room for more roses.

  3. My own pink hydrangea turned brown after a very frosty night last week. And so did all the other flowers that were still blooming in our garden. Fall is here, definitely.
